Another Artistic Album of Bernardo Olivares

Abstract

This contribution presents and studies a manuscript, until recently unknown, by Mexican artist Bernardo Olivares Iriarte. Written in 1855, the album represents a new resource, important for the study of the arts from viceregal and Independent Mexico. It sums up and contextualizes the contents of the album and emphasizes its value for students of Mexican art.
